Katsina Governor Radda Praises Appointment Of Maryamu Idris As Nigeria’s OPEC Representative

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated Maryamu Idris on her appointment as Nigeria’s National Representative at the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
This was contained in a congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary,Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed on Friday.
Maryamu, an indigene of Katsina State currently serves as Managing Director of NNPC Trading Limited.
Governor Radda described the appointment as a testament to the quality of professionals that Katsina State continues to produce for national and international service.
“We are proud that a daughter of Katsina State has been entrusted with representing Nigeria at such a prestigious international organization,” the Governor stated.
He expressed confidence that Maryamu would bring her vast experience in the oil and gas sector to bear in advancing Nigeria’s interests within OPEC.
The Governor noted that the appointment reflects the administration of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to placing competent Nigerians in strategic positions regardless of their state of origin.
Governor Radda wished Maryamu success in her new role and charged her to continue being a worthy ambassador of Katsina State and Nigeria.
