These connections support our editorial publishing workflow. They do not require ordinary website visitors to connect their social accounts, and they do not authorise us to publish to a visitor’s personal profile.

Access tokens are stored in private server storage outside the public website directory. They are not displayed publicly or returned in the dashboard’s token fields.

An authorised administrator can disconnect an account through Social autoposting settings. Disconnecting removes its locally stored connection credentials. Access may also be revoked through the relevant platform’s account settings.

Disconnecting an account does not automatically delete material already published on that platform. Facebook, Instagram and X process information under their own privacy policies.

Identify the platform and the relevant Page or account name or ID. Do not include passwords or access tokens.

After verifying your authority, we will remove information that is no longer necessary, subject to applicable retention obligations and exceptions. We will explain any information that must be retained. Requests to delete copies held by a social platform must also be addressed to that platform.

12. Children’s Privacy

Daylight Reporters is a general-audience news website. We do not intentionally solicit children’s personal information for account registration or marketing.
