Jigawa Governor Namadi Flags-off N12.9bn Road Construction, Calls For Speedy Completion

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has flagged-off asphalt overlaying of the 39.4km Kwanar-Idanduna road project with a charge to the contractors, CGC Road Construction Company, to complete work within the contractual agreement.
The completion period is twenty four months.
The N12.9billion project is expected to link towns in Jahun, Kiyawa and Kafin-Hausa local government areas, covering Kwanar Idanduna, Kadawawa to Kwanar Olayinka.
“This project we are flagging-up was amongst the 42 numbered road construction we awarded after completion of the earlier thirty six roads construction we inherited from the previous PDP administration,” the Governor said.
