Governor Inuwa Mourns Sheikh Umar Bojude, Esteemed Gombe Imam

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Sheikh Umar Bojude, the Chief Imam of AG Dalibi Juma’at Mosque, who died earlier Sunday in Gombe.
In his condolence message, the governor described the late cleric as a remarkable Islamic scholar, a devout worshipper, and a respected pillar of the Tijjaniyya order who dedicated his entire life to the service of Allah and the spiritual guidance of his followers.
“Sheikh Umar Bojude touched the lives of many through his teachings, humility, and strong commitment to the Muslim community,” the governor said, noting that his death is a huge loss to the people of Jankai community, the Tijjaniyya order, and Gombe State as a whole.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, members of Fiyanul Islam, the Tijjaniyya community, and the wider Muslim Ummah both within and outside the state.
He prayed for Almighty Allah’s mercy on Sheikh Bojude’s soul, asking that his shortcomings be forgiven and that he be granted eternal rest in Aljannat Firdaus.
