Atiku Abubakar Foundation has awarded full scholarships to the three Nigerian students who represented the country and emerged champions at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Round competition in London, United Kingdom.
It could be recalled that, the three students, Nafisa Aminu; Rukayya Fema and Hadiza Kalli won top positions in various categories at this year’s edition of the global competition.
Aminu emerged as the overall best in English Language skills, Fema came top in debate, while Kalli also emerged best in the talent category to clinch a gold medal.
The Scholarship award disclosed in a letter by the Atiku Foundation signed by its acting secretary, Ahmadu Shehu, stated that the scholarship will span their remaining secondary education and their university studies in any institution they chose to study.
It read in part, “The Atiku Abubakar Foundation is delighted to learn of your outstanding performance at the TeenEagle Global Finals, where you emerged as global winners in various categories of the competition.”
“Your remarkable success is a testament not only to your academic excellence but also to the boundless potential of all children to achieve their dreams, regardless of gender, social class, or background.
“In recognition of this achievement, the AAF is pleased to offer you a fully-funded scholarship covering the remainder of your secondary education and your university studies at any institution of your choice.
“As the platform that coordinates the philanthropic activities of H.E. Atiku Abubakar, renowned for his commitment to quality education in Nigeria, the Foundation reaffirms its dedication to supporting education, particularly for girls and other vulnerable groups.”
It could be recalled that, the girls who all came from a school in Yobe State, have received various accolades from notable personalities including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajuddeen and others.
They’ve also been honoured by the Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni for making the state and the country proud.
