Federal Varsity Gashua Unveils Locally Manufactured Solar Generator

The Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO) of the Federal University Gashua (FUGA), Yobe State has successfully manufactured and commissioned a solar generator developed by its staff.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Adamu Saleh,
Head, Information and Public Relations of FUGA.
The commissioning ceremony was held Wednesday during a Sensitisation and Awareness Campaign on the activities of IPTTO, which took place at the 284-capacity lecture theatre of the university.
Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Maimuna Waziri, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Mohammed Attai Yakubu, described the innovation as a milestone that will significantly contribute to the technological advancement of the university.
He commended the IPTTO team for their creativity and commitment, noting that the achievement is not only a pride to the university but also a contribution to the wider society and the world at large.
