APC National treasurer, Alh. Bashir Gumel has charged youth and women to massively participate in the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) voter registration exercise.
Speaking in Dutse stressed the importance of voter’s card as a weapon of liberty for any eligible voter to elect a credible leader’s of his or her choice for the sustainance of a viable political stability in the country.
“Voter registration is a fundamental step in ensuring that citizens’ voices are heard in the democratic process. It promotes inclusivity and strengthens civic participation in elections.
He noted that mobilising thousands of unregistered youths and citizens would be “the only lawful path” for the PDP to secure electoral victory.
On visitation to one of the INEC validation centre in Dutse, Bashir Gumel said .
As APC youths and women, we have role in making our party stronger. It is not about just being APC supporters but we must have voters cards to make us make impact in elections. The goal of every political party is to win elections and only registered voters can participate in votings and make that happen,” he emphasis.
Gumel who was in Jigawa to commissioned President Tinubu’s Campaign Office commended the Jigawa State leadership of the ruling APC saying, “I implore you to wax stronger in the cause of your leadership for us to usher more and more means ngful leadership.”
Similarly he urged them to ensure that unregistered youths and citizens obtain their voter cards, which remain the only tool for electing leaders of their choice and benefiting from democratic dividends.
Also speaking, the Jigawa APC Chieftain, Mal. Zakari Sidi Kafin-Hausa has commented on the reforms being undertaken by the administration of President Bola Tinubu Since taking office in 2023.
Tinubu has removed long-standing fuel subsidies, unified multiple exchange rates, and restructured the tax system, among others.
According to Kafin-Hausa, all these measures taken by President Tinubu were in good faith in the collective interest of the masses of the country.
