The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Taraba State Command has deployed a total number of One Thousand Five hundred personnel across Taraba State to maintain law and order during the Easter celebration.
The State Commandant, Adamu Salihu, disclosed this development while interacting with journalists at the Command Headquarters in Jalingo.
The commandant said all tactical units which include, the Rapid Responds Squad, SWAT team and Special Female Squad, have also been deployed to tackle serious threats to peace during the celebration.
Congratulating the Christian faithful on the successful completion of the Lent, Adamu urged them to imbibe the lessons of love and sacrifice learnt during the period and to be security conscious so as to report every suspicious persons or activities around them to the nearest security agency for immediate response
“The biggest lessons of Easter are love and sacrifice. We must learn to love one another and also make certain sacrifices for our country to live in peace and enjoy the prosperity we so desire
“I urge all Tarabans to be security conscious while celebrating Easter and to report every suspicious persons or activities around them to the nearest security agency for immediate response”. He stated
