…Says, He Was A True Representative Of His People
The Chairman of the House Committee on Ecological funds, Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji has expressed shock and sadness over the death of his colleague, a friend, and a brother, Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi(Jagaban).
Jagaban represented Oyo North Federal Constituency in the current 10th Assembly, and he was the Chairman, House Committee on Science Research Institutions. He died on Wednesday morning in Abuja after a brief illness.
In a condolence message personally signed by Hon. Jaji, he said late Akinremi Jagaban was a hardworking, dedicated and honest politician who died when his services were needed the most.
He further described him as a true representative of his people.
“I am deeply saddened as I join the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency and the government and the people of Oyo State to mourn the loss of our brother and colleague.
“We have lost an excellent, experienced and a patrotic legislator, one of the illustrious sons Oyo State, the heartbeat of Yoruba land and Nigeria, a loving father, a man of peace filled with wisdom and a very honest personality.
“We cannot question the Almighty Allah over what has happened, so I urge members of the family, the constituents, and our colleagues to take heart and consider his death as an act of God.
“I pray Allah to forgive him his sins while on earth and grant his soul Ajannah Firdaus”. Ameen.
