Nassarawa State of Assemblyman, Muluku Agah, has advised supporters and party members to remain peaceful as the All Progressives Congress (APC) commenced its primaries today (May 26).
Agah, who is the Chairman, House of Assembly Committee on Planning, Budget and SDGs, made the call while addressing party members and his supporters in Lafia on Wednesday.
The lawmaker urged the party members to continue to preach peace messages to supporters and other party faithful for the progress and development of the party.
Agah is the member representing Nassarawa Eggon East constituency, at the state House of Assembly.
“I want to thank you all for your continued prayers and support.
“By God’s grace, we will come out victorious during our great party’s primaries and general elections.
“I have done my best and still doing my best as your representative in the House.
“I have initiated projects, lobbied for development projects into our constituency as well as empowered you and other people.
“By God’s grace, if given another chance come 2023, I will do more in order to change our lives positively.
“The empowerment of my constituents will continue to be my topmost priority, if re-elected,” he said.
Agah also assured them of quality representation at the state legislature.
He also called on his constituents to pray and support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed beyond 2023.
“This is to enable you and other people enjoy more dividends of democracy,” he added.
Besides, the legislator called on the people of the constituency and the state at large to continue to be law abiding, live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their party affiliations.
Earlier, Mr Malle Moses, the APC Deputy Chairman, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area, said the visit was to assure Agah of their support at all times.
He prayed and wished the lawmaker well in his political ambition.
