The resignation of Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Zamfara State, Professor Kabiru Jabaka, from the party has drastically weakened it to inconsequence before the 2023 elections.
Prof. Jabaka’s exit from the opposition party, has confirmed that the party is a sinking ship, according to the spokesman of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), Yusuf Idris Gusau.
Gusau recalled that Prof. Jabaka dumped the PDP, for which he had been Acting Chairman following the recent resignation of its substantive Chairman Col. Bala Mande, saying the party had ‘lost focus.’
Gusau assured the people of Zamfara that the APC would continue to cherish their goodwill and unrelentingly work for their benefits.
