Zamfara Governor Reshuffles Cabinet, Appoints New Commissioner

The Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, has reshuffled his cabinet and sworn in Kasimu Sani Kaura as the new Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources.
He succeeded Mahmud Mohammed Abdullahi.
The reshuffle took place during a meeting of the State Executive Council on Monday.
The reshuffle also saw Nasiru Ibrahim Zurmi appointed as the new Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, taking over from Kabiru Moyi, who now heads Project Monitoring and Implementation.
Dr. Nafisa Muhammad has been moved to the Ministry of Health, while Dr. Aisha M. Za Anka has been assigned to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
The governor directed all handover processes to be completed within the next seven days.
He emphasized the importance of performance and efficiency among his appointees.
