Leaders of Zamfara State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Nafiu Tsoho popularly known as Gireza, who was was allegedly killed by PDP thugs who attacked members of the party on Saturday.
State Chairman of the party, Tukur Umar Danfulani has today led a team of the State Working Committee of the party to condole with the family on Sunday.
It could be recalled that, The APC had at at a press conference at it’s secretariat in Gusau alleged that, the attack was carried out by the PDP thugs on Saturday as the PDP candidate, Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare arrived the state capital.
Speaking during the visit to the vitim’s family during the visit, the state APC Chairman said the victims were allegedly attacked by the trigger happy PDP thugs while they were carrying out sanitation activities in the GRA area of Gusau, the state capital.
Danfulani said, the PDP governorshp candidate’s entourage attacked innocent citizens in his presence but failed to stop the dastardly act.
The chairman maintained that members of APC will remain law abiding and will always engage the cooperation of security personnel to address such misdemeanor in the society.
He later donated the sum of N2 million to the family of the deceased with a promise of an employment slot to one member of the family.
The chairman also disclosed that, the APC will handle the medical bills of the 20 other victims who were wounded by gunshots during the attack as well as support them with cash donations to cushion the effect of their stay in the hospital.
The chairman was escorted on the visit by the State Secretary of the Party, Hon. Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima, Publicity Secretary, Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau, Welfare Secretary, Alhaji Bashir Idris Ataka, Gusau Local Government Sole administrator.
Others include; Hon. Sanusi Mohammed Sarki, Gusau Local Government, APC Chairman, Alhaji Tijjani Dan-Ayya, Assistant Publicity Secretary, Junaidu Attahiru Dosara and Assistant Financial Secretary, Alhaji Bello Mahe among others.
