Yarma Gifts Gombe’s Talented Girl, Munyal, N100,000 For Outstanding Athletic Achievement
Munyal Simon Kwairanga, a talented young gymnast from Gombe State, is set to receive a sum of N100,000 as appreciation from Malam Farouk Yarma, pioneer Executive Chairman of the Gombe State Sports Commission.
Yarma in a statement issued to DAYLIGHT REPORTERS said Munyal’s dedication and talent showcase the immense potential within Gombe community.
He said her exceptional performance at the national games where she won three gold medals deserves recognition and support.
DAYLIGHT REPORTERS reports that Munyal’s impressive track record includes a stellar performance at the North-East Zonal Gymnastics Championships in Bauchi and she is now setting her sights on representing Nigeria in the upcoming International Gymnastics Championship in Singapore.
Yarma promised to present Munyal with the N100,000 gift through the chairman of the Gombe State Sports Writers Association (SWAN).
