Tinka Expresses Sadness On Santurakin Yamaltu’s Demise
A popular businessman and politician in Gombe State Bala Bello Tinka has expressed sorrow over the demise of the elder statesman in Gombe State and Santurakin Yamaltu Alhaji Muhammadu Aliyu.
Tinka who is the managing director of a construction company ‘Tinka Point Limited’ in a condolence message described the late traditional title holder as a great figure whose contributions will never be forgotten in the history of the state.
Late Santurakin Yamaltu died on Monday at the age of 94 as a result of illness and was buried on Tuesday in Gombe.
Tinka said Aliyu’s death is a monumental loss to the state and conveyed his commiseration to the immediate family of the deceased and the people of the state in general.
The politician urged the family of the late elder statesman to sustain his legacies and see his life as a source of inspiration.
DAYLIGHT REPORTERS gathered that Alhaji Muhammadu Aliyu left behind 10 children, including the Gombe State Commissioner of Trade, Industry and Tourism, Alhaji Nasiru Muhammad Aliyu, (Magajin Garin Gwani), Major General Abdulrashid Muhammad Aliyu RTD (Sarkin Kudun Gombe); President of ZAVATI Group, Alhaji Abdulrahman Muhammad Aliyu (Majen Gombe), Alhaji Adamu Aliyu, Buhari Muhammadu Aliyu ( Sarkin Bauran Gombe) among others.
