TETFund Executive Secretary, Echono, JAMB Registrar, Oloyede, Others Honoured With Legacy Awards

The Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Architect Sonny Echono and the Registrar of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, have been honoured with legacy awards for educational advancement.
Besides, they were inducted into the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) Hall of Fame for their contributions to the education sector.
The Union honoured the duo as part of the occasion to mark 2024 World Teachers’ Day.
Echono thanked President Bola Tinubu for the opportunity given to him to serve and pledged to continue to rededicate his efforts toward ensuring that tax payers’ money contributed for the development of education was prudently and judiciously deployed.
The Executive Secretary congratulated teachers worldwide for celebrating their day stressing that he feel honoured that they have chosen this occasion to also honour them.
The event also featured scholarship award to outstanding students of the colleges of education in the six-geopolitical zones of the country with Mubarak Latona emerging overall best student in the country.
Latona, a student of Federal College of Education, Iwo, Osun State, pledged to impact the future generation with his skills and abilities.
