Taraba Pensioners Endorse Governor Kefas For Second Tenure

The Taraba State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), has endorsed the Governor Agbu Kefas for the 2027 governorship election.
The NUP state chairman, Alhaji Mamudu Famlak Yaro, made the declaration during the flag-off ceremony for payment and pay-rolling of 1134 local government retirees, at the Taraba state local government staff pension Board, Jalingo.
He pointed out that the state was rated 3rd, among states with exceptional commitment for the welfare of retirees in the last NUP National meeting in Abuja and commended Governor Kefas for his passion for the wellbeing of both local government and state retirees.
Yaro said: “As senior citizens of Taraba, we wish to declare our total support for governor Agbu Kefas in the 2027 governorship election. This endorsement is to appreciate the governor for the work done so far that has placed Taraba on the global map among top best Nigeria states.”
The chairman Taraba State House of Assembly Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Abel Peter Diah, said Governor Kefas was committed to ensuring good governance in both infrastructural and human development.
