Taraba businessman, Hamanadama, congratulates Kefas on award as “governor of the year.”

A Taraba state-based business mogul and renowned politician, Hamanadama Tukur, has congratulated Governor Agbu Kefas on his recognition as “Best Governor of the year”.
The state governor was recognised by Abuja based media group, Daily Asset at an event to mark its 7th annual award and lecture anniversary in Abuja.
Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, elder statesmen and former Governor of Plateau State, Senator David Jang, former Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Farida Waziri and former Executive Director Exploration and Production of the defunct Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Abiye were other distinguished Nigerians awarded at the event.
Others were Group Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari.
Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, Mohammed Sani and Minority Whip, House of Representatives, Isa Ali and Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
Former governor Jolly Nyame of Taraba state, chaired the event.
According to the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of the Newspaper, Cletus Akwaya the awardees were carefully selected by the management of Daily Asset newspaper owing to their positive contributions in society and to encourage them to do even more.
Congratulating Kefas in a statement issued in Jalingo, Tukur said “the award is a confirmation of the governor’s popularity and credence as a performing governor who has continued to use the State’s resources for the common good of all.
“His exemplary leadership qualities have continued to redefine governance and leadership in the state and this has led to the birth of the many laudable projects that have been witnessed in the state.
“Governor Kefas has so far shown a firm resolve to creating a better reality for everyone in Taraba State, he has made Taraba, a model state of good governance and I am quite delighted that he is being recognised with the Daily Asset Governor of the Year Award
“I urged other governors in the country to emulate his leadership style.” Tukur said.
