The former Governor of Jigawa state, Dr. Sule Lamido has joined other well-meaning Nigerians to mourn the death of Ismaila Isa Funtua who died on Monday.
While mourning late Isa Funtua on his twitter handle on Wednesday, Dr. Lamido stated: ‘’ even as old men, anywhere Samaila and I met we indulged in small boys’ pranks. I will tell him look at me Sule receiving a gift from NPN man, because my first cell phone was bought by him in 1992, he will reply, look Sule, I’m more of PRP than you.’’
Sule Lamido pray that may God Almighty admit the deceased into Aljannah.
Ismaila Isa Funtua OFR, was a Nigerian statesman who served as a federal Minister in the second Nigerian Republic.
After government service, Isa Funtual went into business where he cultivated clients, business associates and friends who extended his interest beyond the normal scope of a businessman
