Speaker Abbas Mourns Umaru Dembo’s Wife, Hajiya Laraba

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has mourned the passing of the wife of a former minister of petroleum, Alhaji Umaru Dembo, Hajiya Laraba, who died on Friday, aged 75.
In a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, described the late Hajiya Laraba as a wonderful mother and community mobilizer, who raised an array of leaders in her own right.
Speaker Abbas sent heartfelt condolences to the family of Alhaji Umaru Dembo, the Zaria Emirate, the people and government of Kaduna State over the loss.
He equally prayed to Allah (SWT) to have mercy on the soul of late Hajiya Labara and grant her Jannatul Firdaus.
Speaker Abbas beseeched the Almighty to give the Umaru Dembo family the fortitude to bear the loss.
