Speaker Abbas Condoles Former Speaker Bankole Over Mother’s Death

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has condoled a former Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole, over the demise of his mother, Alhaja Monsurat Atinuke Amoke Bankole.
Speaker Abbas, in a condolence message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, extended his condolences to the Bankole family.
The Speaker also commiserated the government and the people of Ogun State, especially the Muslim community, where Alhaja Bankole was a leader of repute.
Speaker Abbas urged the Bankole family to take solace in the exemplary and impactful life of the matriarch, noting that her philanthropic life would be remembered for a long time.
The Speaker prayed Allah to grant Alhaja Bankole Jannatul Firdaus.
Alhaja Bankole, the Iya Adini of Egbaland, passed away on Friday, aged 78.
She was a wife of a Second Republic politician and High Chief of Egbaland, Chief Suarau Olayiwola Alani Bankole.
