Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen has condemned, in strongest term, the recent attacks on communities in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The reported attacks in Ruwi, Manguna, Daffo,Josho and Hurti communities claimed many lives, with scores injured, mostly women and children.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Musa Abdullahi Krishi on Saturday, he specifically expressed anger over the attacks, saying they were senseless and barbaric.
Speaker Abbas lamented the killings, injuries, and destruction of property, describing the incident as “one too many.”
He commiserated with the families of the victims and charged relevant security agencies to arrest and prosecute the attackers, warning that impunity has more consequences.
He sent his deepest condolences to the people and the government of Plateau State, while praying to the Almighty God to accept the souls of the deceased and console their families.
