Senator Sumaila Doles Out 30 Cars, 30 Motorcycles To Butchers, Media Influencers

The Senator representing Kano South Senatorial District, Senator Suleiman Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, has distributed 30 cars and 30 motorcycles to butchers and media influencers in his district.
According to a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity,
Abbas Adam Abbas on Thursday, the gesture was part of Senator Sumaila’s commitment to the empowerment of his constituents through various empowerment programmes.
He said the distribution of the vehicles was the seventh empowerment program undertaken by the Senator since he assumed office.
Speaking at the event, Senator Sumaila highlighted the invaluable contributions of butchers to their political party, particularly during election celebrations.
He said, they generously provided 16 cows as part of their support adding that, the gesture was an appreciation of their loyalty and dedication to the party’s success.
The Senator also extended his gratitude to media influencers and other individuals who played pivotal roles during the campaign period.
He called on constituents to remain patient and steadfast, promising that additional empowerment opportunities would soon follow.
He said, “Your efforts and support have not gone unnoticed. This empowerment initiative is a token of our appreciation for your dedication.
“I am deeply committed to the progress and welfare of Kano South. This is just the beginning, and I assure you that more impactful initiatives are on the way,” he said.
According to the statement, the empowerment program which was divided into two categories was partly funded through Senator Kawu’s personal resources.
