Sen. Dankwambo Donates N11.3m to Secure Land for Construction of Power Station

Senator representing Gombe North Senatorial District, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has donated N11.3million for the purchase of four and a half hectares of land designated for the construction of a Power station.
Representatives of Senator Dankwambo, the Talban Gombe, visited His Highness, the Emir of Funakaye, Alhaji Yakubu Mohammad Kwairanga IV, to present a cheque of the sum.
The power station is projected to supply electricity to Funakaye, Dukku, Nafada, and Kwami local government areas.
It is also anticipated to extend power supply to parts of Yobe State, effectively addressing critical energy demands in the state.
His Highness, the Emir of Funakaye, received the cheque on behalf of the farmers and landowners.
He expressed his gratitude to Senator Dankwambo, offering prayers for his continued success and the safe completion of the project.
“May God grant him the ability to complete this work safely and bring lasting benefits to the people,” the Emir said.
The project marks a significant step in addressing infrastructure challenges and improving the standard of living in the state.
