Sallah: NCWS Presents Food To Widows, IDPs In Gombe
The Gombe State chapter of the National Council For Women Societies has presented food to widows and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) that settled in Gombe State to enable them celebrate Sallah happily like other residents of the state.
Honourable Hauwa Saraki, the state chairman of the council presented the items to the beneficiaries yesterday.
She made the presentation when she visited some identified widows groups and IDPs where she explained that the food stuffs were donated to the council by the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).
She enumerated the donated food items to include; rice, noodles, maize and sugar.
