RFI Correspondent, Kabir Yusuf died at 64

Malam Kabir Yusuf, the Abuja correspondent of the Radio France International (RFI) Hausa and Triumph Newspaper has passed on in Kano at the early hours of today at the age 64.
The Editor in Chief of RFI Hausa Bashir Ibrahim Idris announced the death in a Facebook post on Wednesday morning.
The deceased, returned from this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia last Sunday.
Idris said the deceased, who returned from this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia few days ago, died in Kano Tuesday night and will be buried today (Wednesday).
“With complete submission to the Will of Allah, I regret to announce the death of our colleague and one of the pillars of RFI Hausa, Kabir Yusuf, our Abuja correspondent, who few days ago returned from pilgrimage in Makkah.
“Kabir passed away in Kano last night and will be buried today. May Allah in His infinite mercies grant this gentleman Aljannah Firdaus,” Idris said.
President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the family of the late Malam Kabiru who covered the state house for years until his death.
In a statement through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Tinubu prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased,
