Ramadan: Kano NUJ Distributes 450 Bags of Rice Received From State Govt To Members

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano State Council, under the leadership of Comrade Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi, has received 450 bags of Rice from the Kano State Government for distribution to its members as a Ramadan gifts.
During the distribution, the Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, stated that this initiative marked the beginning of enhanced welfare support for journalists in the state.
Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya urged all journalists to remain united and cooperative in achieving common goals.
On his part, the Director General of Media and Publicity to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Comrade Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, stated that they were present at the NUJ. Secretariat to witness the distribution of the Ramadan gesture on behalf of the state government.
Comrade Bature appreciated the journalists in the state for their cooperation with the government.
In his response during the distribution, the Chairman of NUJ Kano State Council, Comrade Dederi, expressed his gratitude to the state government for the kind gesture, assuring that all efforts would be made to ensure that every member benefits from the distribution.
