Plateau Governor Mutfwang Charges Newly Sworn In LG Chairmen to be Champions of Grassroots Development

Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has charged newly elected Local Government Councils chairmen in the state to be champions of development at the grassroots.
The Governor was speaking at the swearing in ceremony of the winners of the elections in Jos on Friday.
The Governor also promised to champion the cause of development at the grassroot level in Plateau State.
According to him, he championed the local government autonomy in the state saying local government councils are the closest government to the people at the grassroots level.
Speaking on behalf of the elected new chairmen, the Chairman of Wase Local Government Area, Hamisu Hanani said it is no more business as usual.
PDP won all the 17 local government councils.
