PDP Urges Gov Sani To Allow Senator Usman To Breath
By Abdullahi Alhassan, Kaduna
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has urged the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani to stop interfering with Senator Lawal Adamu Usman’s developmental projects in the state.
The Senior Special Assistant on Media And Communications to the People Democratic Party National Chairman, Yusuf Dingyadi made the remarks in a statement.
He said Senator Usman has made significant contributions to the state, including providing portable water, human empowerment, and capital for businesses, as well as skilled acquisition programmes for women and youths.
The PDP is accusing Governor Sani of hiring “political foot soldiers” to criticize the Senator’s projects, which they claim is a desperate attempt to discredit the Senator Usman and the PDP.
They also alleged that the Governor instructed that educational materials worth over N500 million, donated by the Senator to 43 schools, be kept aside instead of being distributed to students.
The PDP maintains that Kaduna State is a stronghold for the party, and they will not be intimidated by the Governor’s actions.
The party also emphasized that their elected members will not abandon the party or its principles due to threats or intimidation.
