Hon Muhd Kadade Suleiman, a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and an aspirant for the post of the Party’s National Youth Leader in the national convention slated for October 30 and 31, has reiterated his plans to promote youths participation and inclusion in governance, if elected as the National Youth Leader of the Party.
In an interview with the press on Wednesday in Abuja, Hon. Kadade noted that the Youths being the largest constituency in the country, has a vital role to play towards the success of the Party come 2023 general elections and beyond.
“I am 25years old, and rightly fit in the category of the Nigerian youths. Therefore, I am vying for the office of the National Youth Leader of our beloved Party, the PDP. My mission is to lead a vibrant and committed youths population for our great Party towards success in 2023 general elections and beyond. My vision is to see the Nigerian youths actively participate in decision making process at all levels of governance.” He said.
Hon. Kadade noted that the youth who constitutes about 60% of the country’s population should be carried along, and not shortchanged in the scheme of things.
“Our great Party, the PDP, needs youths now more than ever. If elected as the National Youth Leader of our beloved Party, I will chart a new course for a youth-friendly leadership across the country. Our Party was, and still is the largest and most vibrant political Party in Africa.”
“In the light of this, I believe the youths if supported, can reimagine, recreate and revive the Nigeria of our dreams.” He said.
Hon. Kadade added that a united and more focused youth wing of the Party can make the task of winning the 2023 general elections for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) less difficult. He stressed the need for Party to give youths a sense of belonging, confidence and a clear direction to serve their fatherland.
Hon Kadade also noted that his candidature has received the blessings and prayers of PDP stakeholders across the country. He however urged his supporters to not relent in their prayers until victory is assured.
“Giving the youth what belongs to the youth is doable and achievable, and the right time to start is now. It’s not too late yet. The youth wing of the Party, and indeed all Nigerian youths, have a strong and resilient spirit. We must work assiduously untill our beloved Party, the PDP, is returned to Power for the good of all Nigerians.” Hon. Kadade said.
