PDP Leads With I5 Out of 17 Councils in Plateau LG Elections

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State has so far won 15 chairmanship seats in the local government election conducted on Wednesday.
The Chairman, Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission, Hon. Plangji Daniel Cishak made this known while announcing the election results of the just concluded Local Government Council Elections in the State.
The Chairman, while announcing the results stated that PDP won in Mikang, Shendam, Bassa, Riyom, Jos South, Jos East, Kanam, Quanpan, Jos North, Bokkos, Langtang South,
Barkin Ladi, Mangu, Wase and Kanke
He said results Pankshin and Langtang North are still being expected.
He said the election went smoothly without hitches and was adjudged to be free, fair and credible.
