Pantami Gifts Winner Of Qur’anic Competition Car, Scholarship
Former minister of communication and digital economy Professor Isa Ali Pantami has gifted a car and granted scholarship to the Gombe State indigene Hajara Ibrahim who emerged overall winner of an international Qur’anic recitation competition held at Jordan.
The ex minister announced the gift and scholarship for the girl when he received her on Monday night in Gombe.
Hajara, a 19 year old under-graduate student of Gombe State University (GSU) won the competition having beaten participants from 39 other nations.
Pantami congratulated the young student and commended her for the efforts saying she would make the state and country proud.
He then promised to support her education at the university and gifted her a car.
