The Progressive Amalgamation of Northern Nigeria (PANN) is appealing to donors, including the Federal and State governments, international donor agencies, and individuals, to provide urgent support to the victims of the recent flood in Borno State.
In a press release issued by Zakari Adamu, Administrative Secretary of PANN, the organization emphasized the need for immediate assistance to alleviate the suffering of the affected communities.
While commending Governor Baba Gana Zulum’s swift response in providing aid, including healthcare development, temporary shelters, and food relief, PANN believes more needs to be done to address the scale of the disaster.
“We urge donors to come forward and support the victims of this devastating flood.
“The people of Maiduguri have faced numerous challenges, and it is our collective responsibility to help them in this time of need.”
