They passed the vote during a get-together at the official residence of the commissioner through a motion moved by the former state Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Elder Anene Chigbue, and seconded by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, Onowu Austin Onianwa.
The motion was unanimously adopted by the entire attendees of the get-together.
They pledged to support Gov. Okowa for his magnanimity in giving appointments to many persons from Oshmili North Local Government Area and for his developmental strides in the state.
In her remarks Barr. Onianwa advised the appointees to wait for the directives of the governor on 2023 Governorship Election before identifying with any governorship aspirant, adding that the choice of Okowa would bring about continuity for the interest of Deltans.
The appointees also commended the commissioner for her generosity to the party leaders and the people of Oshmili North Local Government Area, even as they prayed God to guide her towards actualising the height of her political career.
