Ongoing Construction Of State Secretariat Alone An Achievement -Nasarawa SSG

The new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Nasarawa, Barr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, has averred that the ongoing construction of the “state of the art” State Secretariat along Shendam road is an achievement worthy of commendation.
Magaji gave the hint when members of the Correspondent’s Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) paid him a congratulatory visit at his office on Wednesday.
Barr Magaji, who served in the successive administrations of the second democratically elected governor, The late Madaucin Doma, Alhaji. Aliyu Akwe Doma, as a Special Advisor on Youth as well Director General Special Duties, commended the track record of the incumbent Governor in the state.
The SSG lauded the Correspondent’s Chapel whom he described as his close friends, He also eulogied the Chairman of the Correspondent’s Chapel and the members for the mature reportage of activities of the state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule.
“Governor Abdullahi Sule has continued with the good works of his predecessors.
As the SSG, I don’t allow mails or files to pass more than two hours in my office,
“That is to attest to how robust we are as the engine room of the state government,” he said.
He also lauded the state governor for the coming up of investors to the state, saying Nasarawa State has the largest lithium in the country.
He lauded the recent visit of Governor Abdullahi Sule to one of the lithium processing plant at Shagamu which he has pact with the management of the plant to co’-opt 100 youths from Nasarawa State.
He however tasked members of the Chapel to prioritise developmental Journalism instead of indulging in Journalism of issues, saying his doors were open for Journalists if the need arises.
The Chairman of the Correspondent’s Chapel, Isaac Okpoju, appreciated the SSG for the worm reception accorded his members, noting that the appointment by the governor was a well deserved one.
