The escort commander to Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara State, Nura Imam, has been promoted to the rank Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) by the Nigerian Police Force.
The governor’s Principal Private Secretary (PPS), Lawal Umar Maradun, said in a statement that DSP Imam has, subsequently, been deployed as ADC to the Governor.
Maradun attributed Imam’s promotion to his humility, obedience and hardwork, saying that he, until his appointment as ADC, “worked assiduously with passion and determination as Escort Commander to Governor Matawalle.”
The governor’s PPS expressed confidence that DSP Imam’s future is bright Nura, saying that his appointment and elevations are indications of his commitment to duty and loyalty to the governor.
