The Yobe State Government has declared ‘no public holiday’ Monday 1st August, 2022 as Governor Mai Mala Buni launches fertilizer sales for this year’s cropping season.
This is contained in a statement Re: Declaration of Monday 1st August, 2022 as Public Holiday signed by the Acting Head of Service, Alh. Garba Bilal.
The statement reads: “The attention of the State Government has been drawn to a post on social media stating that Monday 1st August, 2022 has been declared as public holiday.
“The statement did not emanate from the state government and the public are hereby urged to disregard the post and its content.
“As part of his schedules for tomorrow, His Excellency, the Executive Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni will launch the sales of fertilizer for the year 2022 cropping season.
