Alhaji Abdulrahman Maigoro, Chairman, Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, has restated his administration’s commitment to the infrastructural development of the area.
Maigoro made the commitment when he paid an unscheduled visit to the livestock market in Keffi on Tuesday.
He said the provision of basic infrastracture would improve the living of the people and boost socio-economic activities in the area.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the local council is currently constructing shops and stalls in the livestock market.
Maigoro said that the visit was inspect and ascertain the level of work on the ongoing construction of shops and stalls in the market.

” The construction of shops and stalls if completed will boost Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and standard of living of people of my people.
“This is part of my administration’s commitment to promote the status of local businesses in the area,” he said.
The council chairman said that with the level of work done, the shops and stalls would soon be completed and put to use.
He, therefore, called for the continuos support of the people of the area to enable his administration provide quality governance.
