Mr. Miller Dantawaye succeeds late Waheed Ayilara as Akwa Ibom CP

The Police Service Commission (PSC), has announced the appointment of CP Miller Gajere Dantawaye as the substantive Commissioner of Police for Akwa Ibom State Command.
The appointment follows the sudden passing of the former CP Waheed Ayilara, last month during unsuccessful surgical operation at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LAUTH).
CP Dantawaye, who becomes the 33rd Commissioner of Police of the Command, it is believed would bring his experience and expertise to bear in his new position.
The PSC, in it’s magnanimity also appointmented three other police commissioners for Abia, Lagos, and Ebonyi states.
The new commissioners by their appointments are to assume their respective offices with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, the Police Service Commission has expressed confidence in the ability of the new commissioners to deliver effective policing services with world – class standard to the people of their new Command’s.
