Kebbi University Appoints Professor B.G. Dan Shehu As VC

The governing council of Kebbi State University has announced the appointment of new Vice Chancellor in the person of Professor B.G. Dan Shehu to run the affairs of the institution for the next four years.
Dan Shehu has a stellar track record of academic and engineering excellence.
His impressive credentials include serving as Director of the Energy Research Centre, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Head of Department.
Until his new appointment, he served as Coordinating Director of Engineering at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI)
The university’s governing council has warmly welcomed Professor Dan Shehu’s appointment, praising his commitment to fostering a vibrant academic environment and driving innovation.
In his acceptance statement, Dan Shehu outlined his vision for the university, emphasising the importance of maintaining high academic standards, improving infrastructure, and expanding access to quality education.
He also highlighted the need for increased collaboration with other institutions and industry players to boost research and development initiatives.
