Kebbi Representatives Attend Carnival Stakeholders’ Meeting in Kaduna

A stakeholders’ meeting to prepare for a grand cultural carnival in Abuja in November 2024 was held in Kaduna, with representatives from Kebbi State in attendance.
The meeting, which ended yesterday, brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including festival organisers, cultural leaders, artists, musicians, and government officials.
Malam Yahaya Gulma, Director of Culture, and Shehu Hassan, Deputy Director of Culture, in the Kebbi State Ministry of Information and Culture, represented the state at the meeting.
Tourism officials and travel industry experts also participated, highlighting the potential of carnivals to drive tourism and economic development in Nigeria.
The meeting provided a platform for constructive dialogue, sharing of best practices, and collaboration on strategies to address common challenges facing the carnival industry in Nigeria.
Kebbi State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK, expressed his enthusiasm for the carnival, assuring that Kebbi State is preparing to participate in the main event scheduled for November 20-26, 2024, in Abuja.
