Kadala’s Honourary Doctorate And Other Milestones

The theme of the occasion was WAVES OF FREEDOM “the Interchange of Personal Responsibility in Nation Building, Prospects and Realities”.
The event which took place on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at Rahaman Bello Hall, University of Lagos was organised by the prestigious Prowess University, Delaware USA, where Ishaku Buba Kadala along with 14 other personalities were formally installed and inducted with an Honorary Doctorate Degree of the Institute of Arts Management and Professionals in Nigeria.
Several factors may have contributed to the nomination of Ishaku Buba Kadala for the award of fellowship of the institute of Arts Management and Professionals (fiamp).
But one thing has stand out: he had over time touched the lives of the young and elderly, not forgetting the poor of the poorest in the society in terms of empowerment and employment opportunities. He had accomplished these across all strata of the society.
To be specific, members of his immediate community in Ngalbi village, and indeed Hong Local Government area in far away Adamawa State are full of testimonies to this effect.
They had in the last few years seen and witnessed a personae who have been weaving his own story line, that aptly captured and reflected the vision of a story: -‘united and a progressive community which every citizen is proud to be associated with, where no one person or group of persons is discriminated against in all his interventions and assistance.
Ishaku Buba Kadala, who has now officially risen to be addressed as Doctor Ishaku Buba Kadala, was not given this honour just for that sake. He had undoubtedly worked tirelessly and doggedly for all his attainments in life. The award of an Honorary Doctorate Degree on him is to say the least, an eloquent demonstration of the fact, that with dedication, commitment, hardwork and divine wisdom, our creator can elevate any one He desires to choose and move him/her from grass to grace.
Ishaku Buba Kadala is a perfect example of this category.
Born into the family of Ada Buba Kadala and Ama Esther Buba Kadala on October 14th,1972 in Ngalbi village of Hong Local Government area, Adamawa State North East Nigeria. Ishaku had his Primary School Leaving Certificate at Ngalbi Primary school in 1983, and thereafter proceeded for his Secondary School Education in Uba, also in Adamawa state, where he graduated in 1989.
In his bid to further his education, Mr Kadala enrolled for his National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Kenule Beesam Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic, Rivers state in 2019 and 2022 respectively.
With such solid academic background and endowed with enormous wisdom and excellent interpersonal relationships within a span of several years, Ishaku Buba Kadala had established a niche for himself in the transportation sector popularly using the Corporate Affairs Commission’s corporate name as Bilga Global Resources Limited.
Established in 2011, Bilga Global Resources grew from its early trading and haulage business to become amongst the very few most diversified and highly regarded business outlets in the country and beyond.

For instance in 2021 alone, Mr Ishaku Kadala had paid substantial amount money to settle the academic projects of no fewer than forty-eight (48) graduands of tertiary educational institutions from Ngalbi community alone.
Also, in the last two years thus between 2021 and 2023, he had empowered with humongous resources to no fewer than fifty (50) unemployed graduates and other business entrepreneurs from across Hong Local Government area with some millions of naira to aimed to boost their businesses. He had in addition purchased tricycles and motor cycles for different needy people in the area with a view to reduce the poverty level amongst jobless youth, women and elders in the area, and still counting.
As if these are not enough, he had also in the last few years drilled several handpump boreholes and wells in different localities in his local government area.
Definitely, it takes more than perseverance, hard work and ingenuity to attain this enviable position for such a progressive young man. This is part of some of the attributes that endears this awardee to the high end mighty in the society.
The prayer of both his family and friends is for Doctor Ishaku Buba Kadala to continually be richly blessed in his desire to put smiles on the faces of others, and generally to serve humanity in the years ahead.
