Jigawa to establish 27 CNG conversion centres – Namadi
Gov. Umar Namadi of Jigawa, has announced plans to establish Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) conversion centres across the 27 local government areas of the state.
Namadi said this in a statement by his media aide, Hamisu Gumel, on Thursday in Dutse.
The governor, who spoke at the inauguration of a petrol filling station, Safa and Fresh International Limited, in on Wednesday in Dutse, said the CNG centres would establish in partnership with the company.
Namadi said the establishment of the CNG stations would reduce fuel cost by 60 per cent, adding that it would provide a significant relief for residents of the state.
While highlighting the state’s policy on Public Private Partnership, (PPP), Namadi urged the company to explore the Jigawa Invest platform for more insights on the policies.
“Your intention to establish CNG stations in all 27 local government areas is a welcome development.
