Police in Jigawa State have arrested one Abba Yusuf Tata, 20, of Taura town, Taura Local Government Area of the state with 111 wraps substance suspected to be Indian Hemp.
Also found in his possession were 33 packs of robber solution, small quantity of soak and die solution, one cutlass and two scissors.
He was arrested at about 8:30pm of Monday, 4th July, by a team of detectives led by SP Yohana Babale, during a raid at criminal hideouts at railway (Bakin Dogo) area of the town.
The suspect, according to the Jigawa Police Command spokesman, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam, would be arraigned before the court as soon as investigations are concluded.
He strongly warns that rigorous patrol and raids on criminal hideouts and black spots would continue throughout the State.
This decision follows the State Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Sale Tafida’s, directive to officers to carry out such raids across the state twice in a week.
