Jigawa APC Kicks Off Campaign For LG’s Polls

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has launched the APC’s campaign for the upcoming Local Government Council elections, slated for October 4, in Hadejia.
He described the Local Government Election as a critical component of democracy in Nigeria.
Speaking at the zonal campaign flag-off, Governor Namadi assured the gathering of APC supporters that his government is committed to ensuring a peaceful conduct of the polls, strengthening democratic development in the state.
He highlighted the APC’s achievements in the last nine years, delivering dividends of democracy to every community in the state.
The governor urged the crowd to vote for APC candidates in all 27 local government areas, promising to continue improving the social and economic lives of Jigawa state people through meaningful projects and programs aligned with the party’s 12-point agenda.
State APC Chairman, Aminu Sani Gumel charged party members to extend their campaign outreach to every corner of their constituencies, showcasing the positive impacts of the APC government in transforming Jigawa state.
In his remarks, Commissioner for Local Government, Muhammad Maikudi assured the people that APC will uphold continuity, consolidating its good tidings for the betterment of all.
He expressed confidence in the party’s success, citing the good credentials, commitment, and hard work of their candidates.
During the flag-off, flags were presented to the party’s flag bearers in eight local government areas of the Jigawa Northwest senatorial zone.”
