The renowned politician and businessman, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, has commiserated with the General Secretary of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikamatis Sunnah, Sheikh Kabiru Haruna Gombe over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Fatima Abdullahi Haruna.
The 75 year old Hajiya Fatima Abdullahi died on Thursday in Gombe after a brief illness.
In a statement by his aide, Hon. Sani Abubakar Banki, Jamil Gwamna stated that the deceased watched over the affairs of her household with care and diligence.
According to Gwamna “With deep sense of shock and sorrow, but with total submission to the will of Almighty Allah (SWT), I recieved the news of the death of Sheikh Kabiru Gombe’s mother.
“Death of a mother brings with it feeling of dejection and a huge sense of loss. I pray that Allah SWT will grant her eternal resting place in Jannatul Firdausi, Ameen.
“I urge my brother, Sheikh Kabiru Gombe to take heart and most importantly, take solace in the good times he shared with his mother while she was alive and the lessons she taught him and his siblings.”
He prayed that God grants her eternal rest and to the family, fortitude to bear the loss.
