…Miyetti Allah Pledges Support
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial candidate in the forthcoming 2023 elections in Jigawa state, Dr Mustapha Sule Lamido has said, if voted into power, he will integrate some parts of the policies of former Governors Saminu Turaki,Dr Sule Lamido as well as that of Gov. Muhammed Badaru Abubakar.
In a statement on Friday, the Deputy Director, Media and Publicity, Santuraki Campaign Directorate,(SCD), Umar Kyari Jitau Madamuwa stated that, Lamido made the promise while addressing Fulani Herdsmen, Butchers and Property Agents associations at the during the resumed interactive meetings with support groups in Dutse.
He said, by so doing, the document will Jigawa state owned and cannot be tampered with by any succeeding government.
Lamido said, his administration’s will bring to an end the recurring misunderstanding between fulanis and farmers in the state.
He also promised to introduce modern land administration for the benefit of all citizens, property Agents inclusive.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate also appealed to the members of the associations to go back to their respective polling units and ensure the success of PDP and all its candidates.
Earlier in his address, a Miyetti Allah leader, Alh. Abdullahi Shagga lamented how their grazing reserves were overtaken by farmers while all social amenities provided by Lamido PDP Government were neglected and destroyed under APC maladministration.
Shagga assured of fulanis total support for PDP, describing Mustapha Lamido as their son.
Among those who spoke during the meeting included, Amb. Ibrahim Musa Kazaure, Dr Babandi Ibrahim, Deputy Gubernatorial candidate, Alh. Ali Idris Diginsa, PDP state chairman, Alh. Nasiru Umar Roni, Director General of the Campaign Directorate, Alh. Idi Mai Fulani, chairman Butchers Association as well as Jigawa state Chairman of the Property Agents.
