Igbo Leader in Diaspora Predicts Economic Fortune for Nigeria, Enjoins Citizens to Support President Tinubu

Arising from the current economic situation in the country, the leader of Igbo Diaspora United Congress, Mr. Chukwuemeka Obielom has enjoined Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu as the economy will experience a positive revolution and major turnaround soon.
Mr. Obielom stated this in a statement to the media on Friday stressing that, though the world is experiencing global economic changes, there is hope of better days for Nigerians, as the President is assiduously making reforms that would better the country and improve the wellbeing of it’s citizenry.
Obielom, who is a staunch supporter of President Tinubu, expressed optimism that, despite all the challenges, there would be light at the end of the tunnel.
“I am confident that, President Tinubu will change things for better in Nigeria. Although, there is global economic problem, our country will come out better and united.
“The current administration has the capacity to turn things around favourably for Nigerians. What we are experiencing is a temporary sacrifice for greater tomorrow.
“I therefore urge Nigerians to be prayerful and hopeful”, Mr. Obielom stated.
Obielom, who is also the International Co – ordinator of Good Governance Group, and Southern Youth Development Forum Inc, affirmed that, Igbos have been appointed into strategic positions in the current administration.
He appreciated President Tinubu for appointing Igbo sons and daughters into strategic positions in his government.
Mr. Obielom noted with optimistism that, Nigeria under Mr. President is on the right track to economic recovery.
According to him, “as a group, we desire to contribute towards the development of Nigeria, and soon they will establish a Diaspora support in the Eastern region to train and assist our people in different skills and capacity building including; scholarship programmes.
“We are building partnership with the government to enhance the living standard of the people, and I want to appeal to Igbos at home and the Diaspora to live in peace with one another” adding that, Ndigbos have contributed to the development of the country and the world.
