The Management of Igbinedion University, Okada, has named the School of Post-Graduate Studies and Research Building after the immediate past Governor of Gombe state, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo.
The former Governor who presented a paper titled: ‘Globalisation and The Future of Higher Education in Nigeria during the occasion, disclosed that education remains the bedrock of development and growth of any nation.
Dankwambo who lauded the decision of the management of the institution said, “It is a big thank you to Igbinedion University, Okada for naming the School of Post-Graduate Studies and Research Building after me.
“This honor is very important to me because, it was in this same prestigious institution I obtained my Doctorate degree in Accounting.
“Like Benjamin Franklin would say, ‘An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”
