The management of eye center in Kaduna has given free medical examinations, and reading glasses to patients in Panteka, bye pass Kaduna on thursday to mark the world sight day.
The items distributed include drugs, 200 reading eye glasses to be given free after checking the eye
The service providers list the hazards at risk by the automobile mechanics; eye injuries from flying debris, chemical burns, and intraocular foreign bodies
The also highlight on the preventive measures to be taken to avoid eye ailments which includes: using eye glasses, proper lighting, proper storage of tools, and visiting eye care professional regularly, and eating vegetables.
Daylight correspondent who visited the scene reported that 2 questions were raised by patients on the lights refecting on the eye while operating handset, unable to read books like bible and so, and the food to be taken by the person suffering from the eye problem.
The remedies were; people that reach 40years and above is normal to them but they should visit hospital regularly for check up, also that the patient can eats normal food but should add with eating vegetables always.
It also emphasize on the importance of the eye at work, take proper care of the eye to enjoy the service rendering at work place.
